About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of English to join our successful and welcoming secondary school in Clitheroe. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled classroom practitioner to deliver engaging and inspiring lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the English curriculum.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential in English.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support extracurricular activities where appropriate.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to raise standards and share best practice.
Qualifications
  • Holds QTS (or is working towards it) and has experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4.
