Are you a Teacher of English looking to join an Outstanding Secondary School in September 2025?

An 'Outstanding' and supportive Secondary School in the Borough of Bromley is seeking a Teacher of English for a September 2025 start. This is a full-time and permanent position.

The current English Head of Department has helped the English Department grow significantly. The team includes young, experienced, and Teach First Teachers, alongside multiple English graduate Teaching Assistants who help raise attainment across KS3, 4 & 5.

This school has achieved impressive Progress 8 results across KS3, 4 & 5 and fosters a fun and creative learning environment for students.

Experienced English Teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 & KS4 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, and more.

Newly Qualified Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the school's bespoke ECT induction program and will work alongside a range of young and experienced English Teachers.

Person Specification

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
• Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
• Meeting the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
• Ability to work as part of a large team of English Teachers
• Willingness to listen to feedback
