Job Title: QTS English TeacherLocation: BlackburnContract Type: Full-time, PermanentStart Date: September 2025 (New Academic Year)

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Blackburn for the new academic year, starting September 2025. The successful candidate will teach English Language and Literature across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students develop their reading, writing, and analytical skills, while fostering a love for literature and creative expression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback to support improvement
• Inspire students to develop their literacy skills and a passion for reading and writing
• Foster a positive learning environment that promotes confidence and self-expression
• Contribute to extracurricular activities related to English, such as book clubs or writing competitions

Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
