Job summary

Derby College Group (DCG) is seeking a Teacher of Engineering to join our Roundhouse campus team. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment to engineering students, helping them prepare for successful careers in the industry.

You will bring industry experience and a degree in Engineering. If you are not yet a qualified teacher, DCG will support you to achieve Qualified Teacher Status. This post also offers ongoing development and progression opportunities.

About you

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for imparting your knowledge and experience to the upcoming generation of engineers. The ideal candidate will possess industry experience in Engineering along with a minimum of a degree level qualification in the subject. If you are not a qualified teacher, no problem! If you have industry knowledge, we will help you achieve Qualified Teacher Status.
