Ark Isaac Newton Academy in London is seeking a strong Drama teacher for a 1-year fixed term maternity cover starting 01 January 2027. You will work with the Drama/English team to drive excellent student outcomes and contribute to the academy’s culture and ethos.
You should have experience teaching Drama across KS3 and KS4, with a track record of progress in an urban, multicultural setting and a commitment to high standards and commitment to development within Ark’s professional networks.

Start date: 01 January 2027 (1 year fixed term contract maternity cover)
This position entails working closely with other post-holders in the Drama/English team to support the achievement of students at Ark Isaac Newton Academy. You will have a chance to collaborate with other Ark teachers and leaders across the network, where there are numerous opportunities to develop knowledge and expertise.
As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to work with great colleagues and develop your career through an outstanding professional development programme. Isaac Newton Academy is a non-denominational, non-selective school, welcoming students of all backgrounds from the local community. We opened in 2012 with our inaugural cohort of 180 year 7 students.
