What we are looking for

We are seeking to appoint a motivated and inspirational Teacher of Drama from September 2025 on a full-time basis working. This is an opportunity for a teacher to become part of an experienced and successful team of teachers who enjoy working together to raise the academic achievement of our students.

The successful Teacher of Drama candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 Drama to all ability ranges. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality lessons and achieving excellent results for our students, instilling in them a love for the subject and a desire to learn.

Applications from Drama ECTs are welcome as the school has a strong ECT training and support programme.

What the school offers its staff

Our Secondary School is a small all-through school providing high quality education from nursery to Year 11, which aims to transform the lives of all the children who attend the school. By keeping the school small, we have created a community of pupils and teachers where no pupil is left behind which has enabled us to create an environment in which pupils want to learn, achieve and behave well.

Being part of a successful Federation of Schools, located in easy travelling distance of each other, enables the schools to support each other and share best practice and resources. It also enables the Federation to offer staff the opportunity to develop their career as we are committed to developing and promoting from within wherever possible.

The successful Teacher of Drama will have the opportunity to work with a forward thinking staff and school leadership team who ensure that the academic and social development of every student is at the heart of what they do.
