This post is advertised at the pre-NJC pay award salary rate. The successful candidate’s salary will be adjusted in line with the agreed 2026/27 pay award once implemented.

You will be an excellent classroom practitioner, with the creativity, passion and drive to inspire a love of Drama and the performing arts in our students. We are looking for someone who can contribute to the department’s strong reputation, deliver high-quality and engaging teaching, support our thriving enrichment programme and contribute to the wider personal development of our young people. Drama is highly regarded at Sawston Village College, with strong uptake at GCSE, dynamic and high-performing student groups, and a flourishing programme of clubs, trips and productions. This is an exciting opportunity for both an Early Career Teacher or an experienced teacher who is keen to contribute to an already successful department. We are also looking forward to the completion of a significantly enhanced Performing Arts base, which will complement our existing Drama Studio and Main Hall facilities.
