Position: Full-time, Permanent - Start September 2025

About the Role:
  1. Teach Design & Technology, focusing on Product Design, across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential for teaching at Key Stage 5.
  2. Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
  3. Guide and support students in using a variety of tools, equipment, and materials.
  4. Encourage application of design principles in student projects.
  5. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback.
  6. Contribute to curriculum development within the department.
  7. Foster a love of Design & Technology among students.
  8. Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Holds QTS or equivalent qualification.
  • Has excellent subject knowledge in Design & Technology.
  • Displays passion for teaching D&T.
  • Possesses strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
