Job Title: Teacher of DT – Engineering specialist

Working Hours: 1.0 FTE

Salary: MS/NQT

Contract: Full-time / Permanent (Sept 2025 start)

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Engineering Teacher to join our vibrant and supportive ADT team. This full-time, permanent role is suitable for both ECT teachers and teachers with experience.

The opportunity

At East Leake Academy, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Engineering to join our team on a full-time permanent basis.

This role is suitable for teachers at any stage of their career, whether you're in the early years of teaching or bring a wealth of experience to the classroom. While a proven track record of successful outcomes is desirable, the key qualities we seek are a genuine passion for Engineering and a strong commitment to inspiring students. The successful applicant will need to teach Engineering across KS3 and KS4 and have the ability to teach WJEC Engineering to Year 10 and 11 classes.
