Job summary

De Lacy Academy in Knottingley is seeking an outstanding Design Technology teacher to join the DT department from November 2026 on a full-time, permanent basis. Part-time applications will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of teaching and learning and curriculum in the DT department.
• Deliver engaging DT lessons to pupils aged 11–16.
• Support additional DT activities and trips where possible.

Exciting Extra-Curricular Experiences

The opportunities that De Lacy offers its students outside the classroom is really exciting with a full suite of extra-curricular experiences in particular recent trips to Paris on a textiles trip and planned ski trip to Italy in 2027. De Lacy also runs regular trips to Delta’s offsite outdoor centre in the Yorkshire Dales of Dallowgill.
