Teacher of Craft, Design & Technology, The James Young High School, 35 hours per week, Permanent, Closing Date: 9th May 2025

Start Date: 11th August 2025 (subject to completion of all recruitment checks)

The James Young High School is a six-year comprehensive school in Livingston South, serving the communities of Bankton, Bellsquarry, Dedridge, and Williamston primary schools. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team to support our pupils in their learning journey. Experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

This position is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme Update check before employment begins, with costs covered by the candidate. The fee for Full PVG Scheme Membership is £59; existing members pay £18.
