The Role Teacher of Computer Science You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Computer Science lessons across
KS3 to KS5, supporting academic progress and promoting a love for the subject across all ability levels.
What to Expect in This Role:- Full teaching responsibility for Computer Science at KS3 KS5
- Delivering well-planned, engaging and differentiated lessons
- Using pupil data to inform planning and adapt teaching
- Monitoring pupil progress and providing formative feedback
- Supporting SEND students through effective differentiation and collaboration with the SENCO
- Participating in enrichment, extracurricular activities, and school events
- Collaborating closely with department colleagues on curriculum development and teaching practice
Role Requirements Ideal Candidate Will:- Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Hold a degree or qualification in Computer Science
- Have experience teaching Computer Science at GCSE (KS4) (A-Level desirable)
- Be committed to academic excellence and inclusive teaching
- Have strong classroom management and pastoral care skills
- Demonstrate excellent teamwork, communication, and professional conduct
- Be committed to safeguarding and supporting pupil wellbeing
- Hold or be willing to obtain a valid Enhanced DBS
- Hold current UK right to work (this role is not open to sponsorship applicants)
