The Governors of La Sainte Union Catholic School are seeking to appoint a well-qualified, creative and enthusiastic Teacher of Chemistry to join our strong, stable and successful Science Department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving school community that values academic excellence, collaboration, and the holistic development of young people.

As a key member of the Science team, you will have the opportunity to teach across all Key Stages, including Chemistry at A Level, as part of the LaSWAP Sixth Form Consortium. We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs, and we are happy to consider part-time or full-time working arrangements.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is passionate about science education and committed to inspiring a love of learning in all students

• Can teach Chemistry to A Level and contribute to general science teaching at KS3 and KS4

• Has high expectations for student achievement and a belief in the potential of every learner

• Is reflective, research-informed and eager to develop their teaching practice

• Can contribute to the design and delivery of a rich and well-resourced science curriculum

• Works effectively within a collaborative team and supports the wider life of the school

• Is committed to upholding the Catholic ethos of the school and supporting the formation of young

people
