Job description

We are currently seeking to appoint an exceptional Teacher of Chemistry. We are also looking to increase capacity in the Applied Science department so if you have experience of teaching this subject, please let us know in your application. The successful candidate will be an inspirational teacher, able to demonstrate a passion for their subject and have the ability to engage and motivate students of all abilities in the 16-19 range.

With a demonstrable record of outstanding results, you will have a commitment to raising aspirations and supporting the wider college community. If you are currently undertaking initial teacher training you will have demonstrated outstanding potential and aptitude for post 16 teaching.

New College Bradford is a 16-19 free school which opened in September 2019, with approximately 1400 students. We believe that students at New College Bradford should enjoy high-quality teaching and learning underpinned by a culture of high expectations, challenge and support which enables our students to secure high-quality qualifications to support them into employment, training and higher education.

New College Bradford primarily delivers A Levels, alongside a number of Level 3 Applied General qualifications.
