We are excited to offer the opportunity for an inspirational and highly motivated Teacher of Business Studies to join our fantastic team from August 2025.

Business is a popular subject at The Lancaster Academy - we welcome teachers who will be inspiring and knowledgeable within their subject. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a real difference to the lives of our students to ensure they feel valued and that they can succeed.

We want the best and offer an environment where ambitious and innovative teachers thrive and progress. You will work with committed colleagues passionate about improving outcomes for all students and creating a school that is aspirational and ambitious, inclusive and welcoming for all.

Applications are encouraged from both experienced and newly qualified teachers; regardless of experience we offer excellent training opportunities and the chance to quickly progress within the Academy. The ability to offer another subject at KS3 would be advantageous but is not essential.

It is a very exciting time to join us at Lancaster; we are an 11-16 Academy with over 950 students on roll. We are delighted that in February 2024 Lancaster was graded good by Ofsted. From August 2018, we became co-educational admitting girls for the first time, with now over 350 girls on roll. This has added an exciting dimension and a new dynamic to the Lancaster community.
