Principal Resourcing have a fantastic opportunity for an energetic and engaging Teacher of Boys PEto work in one of our vibrant partnership Academy Schools based in Wakefield (WF2).

The full-time role is expected to commence September 2025 and will provide ongoing cover for the sports department to meet the needs of the school.

You will collaborate effectively as part of a successful staff team to plan and deliver an engaging sports curriculum that caters to the individual needs of the KS3/KS4 pupils within your care. Establishing strong behaviour management in line with school policy, to ensure active participation in lessons and positive progression across subjects.

The Secondary School aims to offer the very best education for all students, working in collaboration with staff, pupils and families to extend learning beyond the classroom and ensure the promotion of respectful relationships that encourage positive progression and effective support. You will join a passionate staff team, promoting a safe, happy and supportive environment for learning

We welcome applications from ECT’s and experienced Teachers. You can expect to be paid up to £230 per day depending upon your experience and the role requirements.

We are seeking a Teacher with:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for their subject
  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum
  • An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us
  • Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship
