Salary: £33,594 - £50,589
Hours: 35 per week

Portobello High School is a six-year comprehensive school located in the East of Edinburgh, with a student roll of over 1500, mainly from five associate primary schools: Brunstane, Duddingston, Parsons Green, Royal High, and Towerbank.

The school boasts excellent facilities used extensively by the community. It offers a vibrant extracurricular programme, providing numerous opportunities, especially in arts and sports. The school maintains positive relationships with parents and actively builds partnerships with local businesses and the community.

This position involves regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The successful candidate will need to join or update the PVG Scheme and may require an Overseas Criminal Record Check if applicable. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of these checks.

Salaries will follow the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
