Job summary

Dr Challoner's Grammar School is seeking a part-time Teacher of Art to join their dynamic Art team. Term time only: No

Salary Type: MPS/UPS

Salary details: MPS/UPS plus Fringe allowance

Contract type: Permanent

Hours: Part time (minimum 0.7 fte)

This post offers an opportunity for an Early Career Teacher or for someone looking to gain experience working as part of a dynamic and experienced Art team in an innovative and high achieving school. Our students follow a Visual Arts Programme at KS3 which aims to promote a lifelong understanding and engagement with the visual World. At KS4 students follow the Fine Art title of the AQA specification for GCSE Art & Design. Fine Art is also available as an A level option.

About you

You should have experience of teaching Art to at least GCSE level, and a thorough knowledge of the requirements of the National Curriculum and examination requirements. Some experience of teaching A level Art would be desirable but not essential.
