Challenge, support, and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of an innovative and creative curriculum. This role aims to promote, deliver, and integrate key objectives as outlined in the Education Plan and the Community Plan.

Requirements

The duties involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for regulated work with these groups, or if already a member, undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal employment offer is made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are continually updated, and any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual

This is a temporary, full-time position based at Loudoun Academy, Galston, until 30 April 2026. The role involves working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, as directed by the line manager. The annual salary ranges from £40,305 to £50,589.
