• Assess progress and provide constructive feedback; track student achievement.
• Support development of schemes of work and departmental resources.

We are looking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated Art Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Leicester.
The successful candidate will have a passion for inspiring creativity and self-expression, delivering engaging Art lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 depending on experience. You will encourage students to develop their artistic skills, explore a wide range of media and techniques, and build confidence in their creative abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for creative education.
• The ability to motivate and engage students of all abilities.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to promoting high standards of achievement and inclusion.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.Experience teaching GCSE Art is desirable.
• Experience teaching A-Level Art would be advantageous.
