About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Teacher of Art to join our thriving secondary school in Rossendale. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to deliver inspiring and engaging art lessons across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to secure a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging art lessons across a range of media and techniques.
  • Inspire and motivate students to develop their creativity and artistic skills.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Contribute to extracurricular art activities and exhibitions where possible.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and raise standards.
We Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Holds QTS (or is working towards it) and has experience teaching Art at KS3 and KS4.
  • Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge and a passion for the arts.
  • Can build positive relationships with students and manage behaviour effectively.
  • Is adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous professional development.
  • Brings creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to their teaching practice.
