An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our teaching team as our Music Lead from September 2025.
This post provides an excellent opportunity for either an experienced subject lead or an ambitious and self-motivated professional to take their next steps in school leadership. We also have the ability to offer this position on a part-time (0.8) basis for a suitable candidate.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside our ambitious Senior Leadership team, to ensure that our children experience high quality music lessons and outstanding extra-curricular opportunities.
Our school has recently graded as Outstanding in each of behaviour and attitudes and personal development by Ofsted (January 2025).
You should be an outstanding practitioner, with an excellent knowledge and understanding of the Music curriculum. It may be beneficial if the successful candidate offered the ability to teach additional curriculum areas, and we would encourage candidates to state these in their application.
Actual Salary £31,650 - £49,084 per annum (M1 to M6/ UP1 to UP3)
In addition, a TLR 2.1 is offered for music (pro-rata for part-time roles).
This job is Full Time and is offered on a permanent basis.
Approximate start date: 1st September 2025.
