Teacher for KS1
Hours of Post: 32.5hrs 1.0 FTE
Contract Type: Fixed term to cover maternity leave
Salary Grade: Teachers Payscale up to UPS3
Start Date of Post: 1st September 2025
Westmorland Primary is a safe and nurturing school, where outstanding teaching and support, aims to inspire all children to ‘Think MORE, be a Westmorland Warrior’. Ofsted has graded it as a good school (July 2023) for children aged 3 11, with a 2.5 intake.
We require an outstanding motivational teacher to join our dynamic and hardworking team.
The successful candidate will teach in KS1 for the year due to a maternity leave cover and should have high expectations of what our children can do. The candidate should have a proven track record of high quality teaching. A knowledge or willingness to use Makaton in daily teaching is advantageous. Training will be provided.
