Job summary

Carnforth School in Worcester is seeking an experienced teacher to cover a maternity leave in KS1. The role is full time, starting 4th January 2027, ideally with some availability for a handover in December.

The successful candidate will have KS1/early years experience and join a friendly school of around 205 pupils aged 3–11, with strong links to parents and the community, supporting a happy, stimulating climate to help children achieve their potential.

We are seeking an experienced teacher to cover a maternity leave within the team at Carnforth School. As this position is based in KS1, you will need experience in KS1/early years.

We are a friendly school with approximately 205 pupils aged between 3 and 11 years. The school fosters close links with parents and the local community. We aim to provide a happy, stimulating, and supportive climate in order for our children to achieve their maximum potential. To achieve this, we provide a wide variety of experiences for the children both on and off the school site.
