Are you a dedicated and compassionate teacher with a passion for supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? An exciting opportunity has arisen at a specialist SEMH school in Blackpool, offering a chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people.
About the Role
As an SEMH Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH.
Provide a structured, nurturing, and safe learning environment.
Support students' academic, emotional, and social development.
Manage and de-escalate challenging behaviour with a calm and consistent approach.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including Teaching Assistants, therapists, and external agencies.
What We're Looking For
To thrive in this role, you will need:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS).
Experience teaching students with SEMH, either in a specialist or mainstream setting.
A strong understanding of SEMH and associated behaviours.
Excellent classroom management and relationship-building skills.
A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
