Teacher in a bilingual hub. Y1-3

We seek an enthusiastic, caring teacher with a great sense of humour and a positive outlook to join our team. This role is in our tēina space, tau 1-3. Confidence in speaking and teaching te reo me ngā tikanga Māori at a suitable level of fluency to deliver the curriculum in a Level 2 immersion setting (50-80%) would be an advantage but is not essential. Your ability to work positively with whānau and community in a collaborative setting is essential.

You must be willing to teach our tamariki using trauma informed practice. We use this approach combined with Restorative Practice. Knowledge of Structured literacy and DMIC would be an advantage. A strength in sport/ music/ the Arts would also be an advantage.
