About the Role

Harrogate College is recruiting for a Teacher of Health and Social Care to join our team.

What You Will Do

  • Teach Health and Social Care, supporting learners to achieve their potential and progress to further study or employment.
  • Plan, prepare, and develop schemes of work, session plans, resources, and assessment plans.
  • Deliver and assess knowledge and understanding.
  • Maintain and update your subject knowledge.
  • Participate in student recruitment activities, including interviews and open evenings.

About You

  • Enthusiastic, organized, and skilled in communication at all college levels.
  • Experience and knowledge in health and social care are essential, along with the ability to support learners' development.
  • Hold a Level 5 Teaching Qualification (e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE).
  • Relevant vocational qualification or degree in the teaching subject.
  • Recent teaching experience in relevant areas demonstrating active and differentiated teaching styles.
