Prospere Learning Trust is seeking an Alternative Provision Teacher at the Manchester Enterprise Academy. This fixed-term position focuses on providing quality education for students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, aiming to improve their academic achievements in a supportive environment.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Alternative Provision Teacher to join our fantastic team at Manchester Enterprise Academy (MEA)
This is a fixed term post for 12 months to cover maternity leave. Teaching terms the salary will be on Teachers Main-Upper payscale.
We’re looking for:
You will need to be qualified to Teach and work in the UK with successful experience in the 11-16 phase. This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher to join The Greenwood at MEA - an alternative provision for students who struggle to access the mainstream curriculum and could be, without suitable intervention, at risk of exclusion. We are looking for a tenacious Key Stage 2/3 specialist who is experienced in delivering quality teaching across the curriculum to small cohorts.
The Greenwood is a high staff to student ratio setting for students with Social Emotional and Mental Health needs, it aims to provide children who need the most support with the opportunities that children in mainstream education receive. It is a very challenging, but very rewarding career path for qualified teachers. It is essential that you are determined to make a difference to our students while being confident and compassionate. You will need to demonstrate resilience and empathy and collaborative approach working with a range of colleagues and engaging with external agencies.
Main purpose of the job:
