Teacher (Epinay School) MPS/UP S + SEN1 (Required for 1 January 2026)

Epinay School is an Outstanding school which caters for 255 pupils aged between 4–18 years of age with a wide range of special educational and complex needs. The pupils have significant learning difficulties and/or diagnosed learning disabilities who are working at a level of at least 3-4 years behind their peers and have limited ability to listen, process information, think, read, write, spell or do mathematical calculations effectively.

In addition to their learning needs, the pupils may have some social vulnerability as well as some difficulties with their functional skills, speech and language communication needs and a diagnosis of Autism.

Role Description

The Governors and Head Teacher of Epinay Business & Enterprise School would like to appoint an experienced, outstanding, self-motivated, passionate specialist Teacher to join our staff team. This is an exciting opportunity for a suitable candidate to progress their career by joining an award winning, talented, hardworking and friendly team.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced primary teacher with the ability to teach children of all ages. They could be asked to teach secondary aged pupils, however, the pupils’ academic levels are within the primary range.

You will be a highly motivated, innovative person with enthusiasm and commitment to educational excellence. The successful candidate will have excellent specialist knowledge, gained through teaching children and young people with special educational needs, and a proven track record.
