Job summary

Oaktree Nursery and Primary School in Swindon is seeking a qualified Early Years teacher with UK recognised QTS or equivalent EYFS qualification and proven EYFS classroom experience to inspire and support holistic development of our youngest learners.

Reporting to the Assistant Headteacher - Early Years, you will plan engaging lessons, create a welcoming, safe environment, build strong partnerships with parents, and collaborate with the EY team, Blue Kite Academy Trust and external agencies to

Job description

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of child-led learning and child development who is committed to providing inspirational and motivational learning opportunities to support the holistic development of our youngest children.

You will hold a UK recognised Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent Early Years teaching qualification and will have previous teaching experience within an EYFS setting.

Reporting to our Assistant Headteacher - Early Years, your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering an engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of our children.
• Creating a welcoming, safe and organised learning environment.
• Building strong positive partnerships with parents and carers
• Effective collaboration with EY staff, the wider school team, Blue Kite Academy Trust and outside agencies

The successful candidate will have:

• Excellent EYFS knowledge and high quality teaching skills
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• A desire to support CPD within the team and to continue their own professional development
