A Teacher Coach is a highly experienced teacher/facilitator, with the skills and experience to teach across Primary. Ideally, we are looking for a candidate with whole-class teaching experience, and the confidence to support and mentor Primary teachers, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to teach Music.
This will be a bi-weekly position (term time only) on a day to be agreed with you, from 11.30 – 15.30 including a 30 minute lunch break paid at £155 per week (equivalent to £44 per hour)
There will be 15 sessions across the year.
Our djembe teachers follow our framework to deliver weekly, whole-class teaching to children in KS2 (Year 3 – Year 6). By joining our team, you will be offered a variety of placements which are weekly (term-time only) for 30 weeks across the year. The delivery fee is weighted towards the first three hours of a call time, as some schools only require teaching artists for one-three hours per week.
We regularly require additional capacity for our London-based schools and (in particular) the delivery of our instrument framework.
We currently have a particular need for artists able to teach Ukulele to KS2 pupils (Year 3 – Year 6) with the following placements available:
*W12 – ability to teach samba = desirable
