Affinity Workforce Solutions are proud to be supporting a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Yate seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This rewarding role involves working closely with pupils across both mainstream and SEN settings, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Supporting teachers with lessons and classroom activities
  • Helping pupils with their learning, both one-to-one and in small groups
  • Encouraging children's development through play and structured tasks
  • Keeping the classroom tidy and ready for learning
  • Observing and sharing feedback on pupil progress with teaching staff
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Passionate about working with children and being creative in your approach
  • Confident managing behaviour and supporting emotional wellbeing
  • Experience leading a class or group in the absence of a teacher
  • Emotionally resilient and calm under pressure
  • Friendly, approachable, and committed to inclusive education
  • Awareness or experience of supporting individuals with SEN
