The Role

University College Birmingham opened its new Sixth Form Centre in September 2024 to 280 fabulous year 12 students and we are looking for knowledgeable and ambitious teachers who have experience teaching A-level Sociology to join our team as we grow.

Teaching within a university environment and our £5.5 million Sixth Form Centre facilities will provide you with a truly unique opportunity to rethink science education; to create a beautiful, knowledge-rich curriculum which transforms academic learning through exemplary pedagogy and research-informed practice.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential experience: Knowledgeable and ambitious teachers who have experience teaching A-level Sociology.

Experience teaching in a university environment or Sixth Form setting is desirable, with a commitment to research-informed practice.
