Five Rivers Child Care Ltd in England is seeking a dedicated 1 ACE Teacher to join our trauma-informed education team. You will deliver bespoke therapeutic educational frameworks across Bristol and Bath, supporting children and young people who struggle in mainstream settings, in outreach or in our Ofsted-registered schools.

The role is term-time, with full-time hours of 37.5 per week, 08:30 to 16:30, and a focus on safeguarding, continuous professional development, and collaborative practice

Your Teaching career with Five Rivers Child Care starts here. We are looking for teachers to join our school without walls covering the Bristol and Bath areas, which is our 1 Ace Provision. You will work with an experienced team in a culture where children are respected, listened to, and involved in as many decisions as possible.

As a 1 ACE Teacher, your day will be varied and exciting. You will be able to follow a flexible structure whilst supporting our children and young people by providing bespoke therapeutic educational frameworks that are tailor-made to each child and young person.

1 ACE (Another Chance Education) is our alternative education provision, which works with children and young people who struggle in their formal or specialised education settings. We offer education on an outreach basis or within one of our Ofsted-registered schools.

You will be working within a Trauma-informed practice model where we can support and follow a therapeutic practice. Our schools have been awarded the “Attachment and Trauma Sensitive School Award”.

About Five Rivers

Hours

Term Time, this goes in line with the local authority
Our full-time hours are 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 am -16:30pm
