Job Opportunity: Maths Specialist Teacher

Location: Middlesborough

Position: Permanent/Full Time

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 (Based on experience) + Benefits

Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced Maths Specialist Teacher to join an outstanding school in Middlesborough. The school caters to young people requiring alternative educational approaches, including those with SEND/SEMH diagnoses or who have been excluded from mainstream schools.

Qualifications:

• Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or willingness to obtain it
• Degree or equivalent with Maths and English at least Level 2
• Specialist teaching qualification in a chosen subject (desirable)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage student behavior
• Experience collaborating with parents, community organizations, and stakeholders
• Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and inclusion policies
• Ability to identify and support students' individual needs
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Experience teaching across secondary age range; familiarity with virtual learning is a plus
