Job summary

Monarch Education is recruiting Primary Teachers to work across a range of primary schools in Chesterfield and the surrounding areas from September 2026. We are supporting schools with long-term class teaching positions, daily supply, short-term cover and permanent vacancies across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

We offer competitive daily rates between £140 and £250, depending on experience, with a £300 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates and flexible working options to suit availability.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school.
• UK teaching experience clearly evidenced on CV.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons across a range of primary school settings in Chesterfield and surrounding areas.
• Support pupils to raise standards and achieve learning objectives.
• Adapt to long-term, short-term, and daily supply teaching assignments across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status
