Qualifications

  • Experience as Support Worker or in Domiciliary Care preferred.
  • Full training provided for new Care Assistants.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is an advantage.

Home Instead East Northants is expanding its team and looking for caring, compassionate Care Assistants to support adults living at home with a range of needs throughout the local area.

We currently have part-time care vacancies available with immediate starts. We offer tea time & evening shifts. We're seeking Care Professionals who may already have experience as Support Workers or in Domiciliary Care, or those without experience who are looking to become Care Assistants, as full training will be provided.

Being a Care Assistant means you need to be adaptable, personable, and committed to putting others first. Your role may include:

  • Companionship
  • Helping with personal care
  • Assisting with mobility around the home
  • Overseeing medication and providing medical support
  • Helping with housework such as cleaning and vacuuming
  • Preparing and cooking meals
  • Running errands like food shopping or picking up prescriptions

Care Assistants with a valid UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes are preferred but not essential.
