Job summary

Curtis Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Tax Trainee in Coventry to join a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants & Chartered Tax Advisers. The ideal candidate will be starting ACCA/CTA/ATT and have at least one year of UK practice tax experience.

You will handle end-to-end tax return work, with study support and opportunities to develop into advisory services in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK accountancy or tax environment
• Actively studying toward ACCA/CTA/ATT
• Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
• Clear communication skills and proactive attitude

Responsibilities

• Prepare personal and business tax returns for a varied client portfolio.
• Collate and review client records, income details and tax documentation.
• Assist senior staff with tax advisory projects and research.
• Support compliance and administrative workflows across tax and probate engagements.
• Act as a proactive point of contact for client queries.
