Job summary

Menzies LLP is seeking a Business & Private Client Tax ATT-CTA Trainee for a January 2027 start. You will join the Tax department on a fixed term contract and begin the ATT-CTA qualification with mentorship and a structured development plan.

The role involves working across Business Tax and Private Client teams, with training to build tax knowledge while supporting client work and career progression.

Qualifications

• Requires a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any discipline.
• Minimum of 2 A levels (A-C) and one other A level or equivalent.
• 5 GCSEs grades A*-C or 9-4 including Maths and English.
• Able to absorb new information and adapt quickly.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across Business Tax and Private Client tax teams.
• Support ATT-CTA Graduate Apprenticeship programme and client work.
• Learn tax compliance and advisory processes under mentorship.
