Join a leading professional services firm specialising in audit, tax, consulting, and financial advisory services. We are currently seeking a Tax Trainee to join our tax team to study and progress through the ATT qualification. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual starting their career in tax to develop their skills and gain hands-on experience in a supportive and professional environment.

Day-to-day of the role
  • Assist in the preparation of tax computations and returns for a variety of clients.
  • Support the team in gathering and analysing financial data for tax purposes.
  • Communicate with clients to request information and provide updates on work progress.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and deadlines.
  • Keep up-to-date with changes in tax legislation and help apply them to client scenarios.
  • Participate in internal training sessions to build technical knowledge and develop expertise.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • A genuine interest in tax and a strong willingness to learn.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
  • A proactive and organised approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a desire to understand the "why" behind the numbers.
  • IT proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Good educational attainment, GCSE grade 5 and upwards in English and Maths, and good A-Level / BTec / T-Level results in related subjects (business, economics, maths, accounting).
