Tax Trainee – London - Music & Entertainment Specialist Firm

Are you looking for a Tax Assistant role working with music and entertainment clients based in Central London?

Our client specializes in providing accounting services for the Music & Entertainment industries. Services provided include tour accounting, accounts preparation, tax, audit, and business management services. The firm’s client base is made up of several high-profile bands, musicians, and other entertainers as well as lesser-known acts and production companies. The firm prides itself on providing a friendly, professional, and highly confidential service to its clients. The culture at the firm is quite relaxed and informal in comparison to more traditional accountancy firms, and they organize several social events.

Tax Trainee responsibilities include:

  1. Preparing and submitting personal, partnership, and corporation tax returns to HM Revenue & Customs
  2. Assisting the Tax Manager with the effective running of the Tax Department
  3. Assisting with the preparation of P11D forms
  4. Corresponding on routine matters with HMRC, via letter, email, and telephone
  5. Preparing and applying for certificates of residence, providing tax information for mortgage applications or for accountants/advisers in other tax jurisdictions

As a Tax Trainee, you will be/have:

  1. Looking to study for the ATT qualification
  2. Tax experience gained in a professional services firm
  3. Good attention to detail
