Our Tax Technology team is dynamic and fast-paced, offering ample scope for progression and the chance to make a significant impact on RSM nationally, with potential to influence on a global scale driving the digital transformation within the Tax business.

As a Tax Technology Junior Business Analyst in our Birmingham or London office, you will play a pivotal role in transforming our tax function by bridging our tax technologists with the wider tax service line. Your focus areas will be to support the identification and documentation of intelligent automation requirements, support project delivery, complete business cases, assess third-party technology vendor partnerships, and ensure our operations and governance processes are followed.

You’ll make an impact by:

  1. Supporting and coordinating multiple development projects.
  2. Supporting the training and upskilling of our tax department to help them better utilize technology.
  3. Collaborating with the wider tax function to share technical knowledge and commercial insight gained in tax technology to drive innovation and improved solutions.
  4. Being proactive and involved in projects from initiation to rollout.
  5. Developing your technical knowledge through personal development opportunities.
  6. Supporting colleagues in the Tax Technology team to identify new opportunities.

  • Maintaining documentation for projects, processes, and operations.
  • Experience managing multiple projects in fast-paced teams.
  • Knowledge of project planning and governance.
  • High attention to detail and process adherence.
  • Commercial awareness.
  • Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.

Desirable:

  • Background in professional services and/or tax technology environments.
  • Knowledge of tax compliance processes.
  • PRINCE2 qualification.
