Tax Technology Assistant Manager - Software Solutions Specialist

Our Tax Technology team is a dynamic and fast-paced group, offering ample scope for progression and the chance to make a significant impact on RSM nationally, with potential to influence on a global scale by driving digital transformation within the Tax business.

As a Tax Technology Assistant Manager in our Birmingham or London office, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of our internal solutions for the Tax Team. You will be key in the end-to-end delivery of multiple tax technology solutions, working closely with our data analytics, data visualisation, and automation teams to deliver high-quality, technically robust outcomes. You will have the opportunity to be involved at all stages of solution development, from idea generation to rollout to end users.

You’ll make an impact by:

1. Building automations, improving processes, conducting research into emerging technologies, and identifying useful innovations for the tax department.
2. Supporting training and upskilling of the tax department to enhance technology usage.
3. Collaborating with our data analytics community to share knowledge and drive innovative solutions benefiting the Tax Team.
4. Being proactive in technology projects from initiation to rollout.
5. Developing advanced technical knowledge through personal development.
6. Working across service lines to identify new opportunities.

3. Experience with relational database design
4. Familiarity with Agile development
5. Experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools
6. Knowledge of ML algorithms
7. Background in Data Analytics or Data Science
8. Experience with AI, ML, RPA technologies
