RSM’s Financial Services practice serves clients in the specialty finance space, including non-bank lenders such as FinTech, auto lenders, merchant cash advance companies, debt buyers, marketplace lenders, buy-here pay-here, and lease-to-own companies. Our team focuses on tax compliance and consulting for complex and well-known companies in this industry.

As a Tax Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing complex partnership and corporate tax returns
• Handling multiple issues and communicating effectively with clients and team members
• Interacting directly with clients for questions and planning
• Training and developing staff and interns
• Researching tax issues and summarizing conclusions
• Keeping current with tax law changes

Basic qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
• 4+ years of tax experience in a Big 4 or similar firm
• Eligibility to sit for CPA, EA, or hold a JD license
• Experience serving Asset Management clients
• Knowledge of tax code and compliance

Preferred qualifications include:

• Masters of Accounting, Taxation, or MBA
• Active CPA, JD/LLM, or EA
• Experience managing client engagements

Compensation Range: $88,400 - $167,200

Individuals in this role are eligible for a discretionary bonus based on performance.
