Job summary

BDO UK LLP in Birmingham offers a six-week Summer Internship designed to give you hands-on client experience and a supportive team to help you learn.

You’ll work within the Tax practice on live client work, developing technical and analytical skills while enjoying induction and workshops. The programme runs six weeks with the opportunity to return after graduation into a graduate programme.

Qualifications

• Be a current second-year student on an undergraduate degree seeking a summer placement.
• Achieve a minimum 2:2 degree (predicted acceptable).
• Have three A-levels or four Scottish Highers (no UCAS points).
• Hold GCSEs at grade 4+ in Maths and English (or S/N5).
• Have the right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience by working on live client work within BDO’s Tax practice.
• Learn from experienced colleagues and build technical and analytical skills.
• Commit to the full six-week placement and participate in induction and workshops.
