Job summary

Streets LLP seeks an experienced Tax Senior to deliver a comprehensive tax service to a diverse client base in a fixed-term maternity cover role ending January 2028. You will support directors, handle personal and corporate tax returns, and coordinate with HMRC.

Key tasks include preparing P11Ds, rental and sole trader accounts, and ensuring compliance for deadlines, with experience in Sage and Xero beneficial. Join a collaborative team with a strong people-first culture.

Qualifications

• ATT/CTA or equivalent qualification
• At least 3 years’ experience in personal and corporate tax compliance

Responsibilities

• Assist Tax Manager to deliver tax services to clients and meet deadlines
• Ensure tax compliance work is completed to meet statutory deadlines
• Prepare Personal Tax Returns
• Prepare quarterly MTD Personal Tax Returns
• Prepare Corporation Tax Returns
• Prepare rental and sole trader accounts
• Assist with P11Ds and other tax documents
• Bookkeep using Sage and Xero for MTD and annual tax returns
• Deal with HMRC to resolve client tax queries
• Support directors with ad-hoc tasks and queries
• Adhere to taxation professional standards and ethics
