Swindon Office based with the option to work from home on Wednesdays

Salary: 40,000 - 45,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours/week

Are you a tax professional looking to step up into a more senior position with a clear route for progression?

A well-established and growing accountancy firm in Swindon is seeking a Tax Senior to play a key role in the delivery of corporate, personal tax, and payroll services. You'll be working closely with the management team, overseeing the tax compliance function, reviewing junior work, and contributing to the smooth running of the wider finance function.

What you'll be doing:

Managing all aspects of tax compliance: corporation tax, personal, trust, and partnership tax

Reviewing corporation tax returns, business computations, and payroll

Taking the lead on various tax assignments and ad hoc projects

Supervising and mentoring junior team members

Communicating with clients in a clear, timely, and professional manner

Supporting Partners and Managers across wider practice areas

What you'll bring:

CTA qualified/part-qualified with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a practice environment (QBE considered)

Strong working knowledge of corporation tax, income tax, capital gains tax, and payroll

Confident using systems such as CCH, BrightPay, MyWorkPapers, Sage, QuickBooks, and Xero

Excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills

A commercial mindset with the ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
