Tax Senior (Personal & Partnership Tax)Location:London
Salary:£45,000 - £50,000
Overview:You'll partner with the Head of Tax & Compliance to deliver personal tax services to our partners and support internal tax reporting for our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare personal tax returns (SA100), including amendments
- Compute tax liabilities, schedule payments, and liaise with HMRC, third-party advisers, and former partners
- Maintain and reconcile partners tax database with current accounts
- Coordinate bi-annual tax payments and partnership tax computations
- Support corporation tax reviews and prepare capital allowance schedules
- Serve as an expert on legislation (income tax, CGT, IHT, VAT, employment tax, IR35)
- Assist with VAT returns, IR35 compliance, and PSA calculations
- Train, develop, and support the wider Finance team on tax matters
Essential Qualifications & Skills:- ACCA, ACA, CTA, or ATT qualified
- Minimum 5 years personal tax experience (private clients, partnership tax)
- Skilled in CCH, IRIS, Excel; proactive and highly organised
- Excellent communication confident engaging with partners, HMRC, and external advisers
- Meticulous, deadline-driven, discreet, and adaptable
