Job summary

Pro-Tax is seeking an ambitious Assistant Manager to join its Tax Risk & Dispute Resolution team in Birmingham. You will work on HMRC enquiries and investigations and help shape tax governance and risk frameworks while developing your advisory capabilities.

You will collaborate with experienced advisers across HMRC, tax, legal and accounting disciplines, gaining exposure to diverse client matters and demanding deadlines. Flexible working across office, home and client sites is offered.

Qualifications

• Experience of UK tax and an understanding of HMRC processes.
• Ability to develop advisory skills and manage client relationships.

Assistant Manager - Tax Risk & Dispute Resolution -Birmingham

Our growing Tax Risk & Dispute Resolution team works with a diverse range of individuals and privately owned businesses, helping them manage their relationship with HMRC and navigate complex tax issues. You'll gain exposure to a broad range of interesting work, including HMRC enquiries and investigations, tax governance and risk frameworks, disclosures, penalties, information notices, appeals and dispute resolution. You'll work closely with experienced advisers, former HMRC officers, lawyers and accountants, giving you the opportunity to develop both your technical knowledge and your advisory skills. We're looking for someone with experience of UK tax and an understanding of HMRC processes, who enjoys solving problems and building strong client relationships. You'll be given plenty of responsibility and support to develop your career, with the opportunity to progress as the team continues to grow.
