Join a growing wealth management firm dedicated to delivering expert advice and simplifying complex cross-border financial matters for clients worldwide. Benefit from a workplace that values trust, open communication, and continuous learning.

What you'll do:

  • Assist with managing the tax reporting inbox by responding efficiently to queries and escalating issues when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
  • Support internal communications regarding distribution timelines for tax reporting, acting as an internal conduit for teams seeking guidance on related questions.
  • Document and update business procedures related to tax reporting, ensuring all processes reflect current best practices and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the tax reporting production process by identifying areas for both short-term improvements and long-term enhancements.
  • Participate in testing data entered into internal systems, running reports, sense-checking outputs against source data, and flagging any discrepancies or concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate the timely distribution of tax reporting documents to clients, maintaining clear records of all communications and actions taken.
  • Assist with producing and distributing Excess Reportable Income Summary reports and US Mutual Fund Year End Capital Gains Distributions Summary reports for relevant stakeholders each year.
  • Support data collation efforts for Alternative Income Fund (AIF) Income Summary Reports, ensuring accuracy across all client accounts during each tax cycle.
  • Maintain accurate books and records relating to tax reporting information, including book cost details stored in local currency and GBP terms within internal systems.
  • Act as a liaison between operations, pods, and the tax team to reconcile data entries, cleanse CRM records, chase missing information, and facilitate smooth security transfers as needed.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in tax administration or reporting within a financial services or wealth management environment for at least one year is highly desirable.
  • Strong numerical aptitude paired with excellent analytical skills enables you to identify discrepancies quickly and maintain exceptional levels of accuracy across all tasks.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is essential; you are comfortable using complex formulas, managing queries across multiple documents, and integrating data from various sources.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills allow you to communicate effectively at all organisational levels while fostering positive relationships with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities ensure clarity when documenting procedures or corresponding with internal teams about sensitive matters.
  • A proven ability to plan workloads efficiently means you can prioritise competing demands without compromising quality or deadlines.
  • Discretion is second nature; you handle confidential information tactfully while adhering strictly to regulatory requirements such as FCA rules or anti-money laundering protocols.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems—especially those used in wealth management—enables you to manage data quality proactively while exploring integration opportunities that enhance reporting processes.
  • Resourcefulness allows you to use initiative when resolving issues independently or supporting others during busy periods or under pressure.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development ensures you remain up-to-date with legislative changes affecting products or technical aspects relevant to your role.
